It was this core conviction that motivated Geoff Gourley, our Founder and Chairman, to become a Centre for Sustainability Leadership Fellow back in 2008, and then a Board Director with the United Nations Association of Australia in 2012.

In 2017, he was extremely humbled to be selected in the Top 100 Social Entrepreneurs and Innovators around the world. A list prepared and selected by European-Based Social Enablers called the #SE100.
One of only three Social Entrepreneurs acknowledged from Australia, Geoff said, “It is such an honour to have been selected from over 2,500 Social Entrepreneurs from all parts of the globe, it’s recognition of years of hard work and commitment to helping purpose-driven business create lasting social and environmental impact.
Geoff’s vision and passion has been to create an accessible and transformative social enterprise accelerator and Impact Investment Fund to empower socially-conscious innovators.
He led the project development to become a finalist in the ASSOB and Victorian Government’s Pitch Competition in 2008. Since then, the concept has undergone intensive development and refinement, and Impact Investment Fund was officially founded in June 2015.
Impact Investment Fund has recruited an energetic and capable team to grow the capacity and enable more innovators and changemakers to create positive social and environmental impact through connecting with Impact Investors.
Since Impact Investment Fund's launch in June 2015, we have expanded into four globally strategic regional offices.
